Improved Call Hall Dairy Bar

I just heard the news that the new, improved Call Hall Dairy Bar is now open. Not only did they remodel but they also changed their menu and hours of operation. One of my biggest pet-peeves about that place was the fact that they were not open in the evenings or on weekends (it was only open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm). They are now going to be open Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm and on Saturday from noon until 5pm. They have also added donuts (from Daylight Donuts) and cinnamon rolls (from Derby Hall) to the menu.

Update: I recently went to Call Hall and found out that the email announcement (and thus my blog entry) was incorrect about the new hours.  It turns out that they are not yet open on Saturdays (they need to hire a weekend manager) and they are only open until 6pm.

Web Developer Job Opening

I got a note a couple of weeks ago from a good friend, Justin Kastner, about a position he is advertising for here at KSU. It is a Web Developer (Webmaster, the KSU title would be Research Assistant) position that would be responsible for his group’s web needs (creating, maintaining, and advising). This would be a great position for anyone that wants to be in Manhattan, wants a stable job that has regular hours, and wants to work with a great group of people.

New Addition to the Neibergall Family

I wanted to say congrats to Matt and Sara and the whole Neibergall family on their new addition. Josie Elizabeth was born on Friday, August 4th at 5:45a (19 3/4 inches, 7lb 4oz).
